Everyday AI Academy, a brand operated by JL Ventures Group, LLC ("Everyday AI Academy," "we," "us," or "our"), is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes the categories of personal information we collect through everydayacademy.ai and our related workshops and courses (collectively, the "Services"), how we use and disclose that information, and the choices available to you. By using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described in this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal information:

• Identifiers and contact information, such as your name, email address, and phone number (if you choose to provide it).
• Commercial information, such as the workshops you register for, the courses you purchase, and related transaction records.
• Information you choose to provide, such as your responses to sign-up questions and the content of messages you send us.
• Internet and electronic activity information, such as your IP address, device and browser type, and how you interact with our site, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
• Payment information, which is collected and processed by our third-party payment processor. We do not receive or store complete payment card numbers.

2. How We Use Personal Information

We use personal information to operate and improve the Services, including to:

• provide and administer workshops and courses, including registrations, scheduling, access, and related communications;
• process transactions and maintain related records;
• send our newsletter and updates about the Services, from which you may opt out at any time;
• respond to inquiries and provide support;
• measure and improve the performance of our content, website, and advertising;
• maintain the security and integrity of the Services; and
• comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

3. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies for site functionality, analytics, and advertising measurement. This includes third-party analytics services and advertising technologies that may collect information about your interactions with our site. In particular, we use the Meta (Facebook and Instagram) advertising pixel, through which Meta may receive information about your visit to help us measure and deliver advertising.

Your choices. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. You can opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies through the Digital Advertising Alliance and the Network Advertising Initiative. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, or if you contact us, we will apply your opt-out choice.

4. How We Disclose Personal Information

We do not disclose personal information except as described in this Policy. We share personal information with service providers that perform functions on our behalf, and only to the extent necessary for them to provide their services to us. These providers fall into the following categories:

• website hosting and infrastructure;
• payment processing;
• email and communications;
• course, community, and checkout platform;
• live-session and video conferencing; and
• analytics and advertising partners.

We may also disclose personal information where required to comply with applicable law or legal process, to enforce our agreements, to protect the rights, property, or safety of Everyday AI Academy or others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or other business transfer.

5. Sale and Sharing of Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information for monetary consideration. However, our use of the advertising technologies described in Section 3 may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under certain U.S. state privacy laws. You may opt out using the methods described in Section 3 or by contacting us.

6. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and to opt out of marketing communications and of targeted advertising. We make these choices available to all users upon request, regardless of location. To submit a request, contact hello@everydayacademy.ai. We will take reasonable steps to verify your identity, generally by confirming the email address associated with your information, and will respond within the time required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, operate our business, and meet our legal, accounting, and recordkeeping obligations. When information is no longer required, we delete it or de-identify it. You may request deletion of your information at any time.

8. Security

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a security incident affecting your personal information occurs, we will provide notice to you and to applicable authorities as required by law.

9. Children's Privacy

The Services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Third-Party Services

The Services may link to or rely on third-party websites and platforms that we do not control. This Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.

11. Changes to This Policy; Governing Law

We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when we post the updated Policy and revise the "Last updated" date above. This Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Utah.

12. Text Messaging (SMS)

If you provide your mobile phone number when you register for a workshop or class, we use it only to send you text reminders about that event, such as the date, time, and video link. We do not share, sell, or otherwise provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent information to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Message frequency varies and is typically no more than two messages per event you register for. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe, or reply HELP or email hello@everydayacademy.ai for help. Full terms are in our Terms of Service.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. We share your phone number only with the messaging provider that delivers these reminders on our behalf, and only to send the messages you asked for.
